My '11 CCSB

Might as well start my build thread over here also. Will be a pretty slow one being so busy with school and work but hopefully it will eventually get there.
Plans are to be leveled on 33s, 2011 HD grill and hood, and colormatching. Want to keep this one a nice and simple reliable DD...for now

Heres the day I brought it home

First thing I did was remove steps bars, bed rails, and debadge

Not much of an update, but got some LEDs put in all the interior lights

Then came the colormatched handles and mirror caps. Along with a TCG 2.5" leveling kit which is how it sits for now

Waiting on Cub and I to trade tires on my LTZ's so I can get them on

Clear the heads, will make a major difference and it's cheap/easy.

That should be done hopefully sometime in the next week or so. Just waiting on a day that I wont need my truck all day while I do them. Already have my chrome ambers and HIDs ready to go in.

Loving it man. Not use to $90 fill up but I drive maybe 10-15 miles a day so its not too bad. Extra room and actually being able to have more then one person ride with me is nice too. Not to mention this 5.3 actually moves when I push the peddle compared to the 4.3 in my RCSB :rofl2:

Like the progress so far Colton! Where did you get the HID's from?

Ordered the cheap $32 shipped ones on eGay. Xentec I believe. Didnt want to order from ddm bc of all the bad reviews lately, plus the 2 to 3 week shipping from china. Jaun told me hes had these for 3 years with no problems along with a few ppl he knows that has them with no problems so I couldnt pass it up. Paid $59 shipped for my lows and fogs and got them in about 2 days. One of my ballasts for my fogs was putting out too much power and went through 3 fuses before I just got a ballast out of my lows box and worked just fine. Emailed them that night and they emailed me back the next morning with tracking number saying they shipped out a new ballast.

Suggestion....Can of good Satin black rocker gaurd and do the inner fedners on the back, really throws the look off with all the white back tthere.

Was looking into that just a little bit ago. Would you recommend buying the liners or buying the can of rocker gaurd? Not sure if iv ever seen pics of someone spraying them

I personally dont like the liners. Here in salt country there rust traps. I use rocker gaurd, not undercoating. Dries rock hard and looks great.

Here's a little update. Got my windows tinted today. 20% all around. Looks alot darker in the pics.

Also got the headlights cleared last weekend.

And yesterday Angelo and I finally traded tarz so I got my LTZs on as well.

Next thing I will get will be fender liners for the rear. Still up in the air on if I want to spray them or just get some liners

I just want white, so bad. ...be contemplating painting, or a a possible clip swap (06/07c silvy or 02HD). Me no likey Sierra all that much.

Looking good dude, just need to get some MT now. Those stock tires look small on it. Just spray your rear fenders, if you don't like it then get the liners.

Thanks guys. Hopefully they will be sprayed sometime in the next few weeks. And the tarz will come eventually. They were coming very soon, but I decided it would be money better spent on building me a computer for school.
