They are "Blazer" brand, not sure if they are made anymore though. They use an 880 bulb, most of the ones on ebay use the shit H3 bulbs. I'd LOVE to swap them out for the bixenon matchbox projectors TRS sells but dont have the $120 to blow right now.

Not all the time, Ford Fusion fogs are a halogen projector and when coupled with a hid bulb will rival plenty factory hid projectors.
But that's about the only case I can think of right now.
