esky shifter is pretty cool. might have to look for one of those.
I've wanted one for a long time(back to gmfs days), saw it pop up in a f/s thread and jumped on it asap.
I want that shifter and cluster something bad!
I had the overlay and trans temp gauge added when I sent my cluster out to get the steppers and bulbs replaced.
Got it at fixmygauges.com maybe 6-7 years ago

Finally broke down and bought the black 06 valance, been meaning to for years but could never find it either in stock verified as black or cheap enough to offset the shipping cost. Found it for $97 dealer closeout w/free shipping so I pulled the trigger. Should have some time next week.

Mike, my buddy with the spiral gray painted his, i think with the VHT dye, and it turned out great, has held up really great.

Yeah I remember talking to him about at the car show, and his did look good, what I was was going to do unitil I found the one I bought. I figured the OEM for under $100 shipped to my door was just as easy, and considering Id have to buy all the stuff to paint, for it only to MAYBE come out ok, was more than ok with it.

Well things didn't go quite as planned, they rarely do for me at least. I was able to swap over the new black valance, (which makes a huge difference appearance wise imo), installed the catch can (didn't get a picture but will later), and replaced the knock sensors.
Now the bad, I forgot/couldn't find the bottom plate to reinstall the OEM air box hooked up to the new airaid, so couldn't hook that up, no big deal bought a new plate and should have in a few days.
As for the intake, the main reason for doing the rest, the adapter plate I bought didn't come with the hardware needed to properly mount the nbs tb. Not being able to do that = no point in swapping intakes.

I'm going to get the right hardware and try again next weekend hopefully. If not I miss the window of BBP being in the area for a live retune and will likely have to either wait until they come back or buy an Autocal.

Because of my longer term plans for the motor, the autocal seems to make more sense to me. But I've got all week to think about it.

Here's the only pic I took of the lower valence, can also see 275s now mounted.

looks good. unfortunately it makes the upper bumper cap look super faded.
Yeah, truck is really dirty, hasnt been washed in almost 2 months and hasn't been detailed in a year. The upper cap gets about that black when I clean and dress it.

Did you at least remember to clamp the coolant lines this time? Instead of standing around holding lines trying to figure out what to do.

Just realized it'd been about a month since Ive updated.
In the month of May:
I met up with BBP for my retune after the intake swap, which really woke it up.
I bought a set of 05 e-fans (props to Khaos for grabbing and shipping them to me), bought the harness, and since found out that by 34" rad they mean core not tank to tank. SO needless to say, I have a brand new AC Delco 34" rad on its way to me for e-fan install this wknd.
Oh and I changed the oil and topped off the washer fluid
