6 inch suspension with extra leaf on each side.
Well this is going to be a long strung out process. But I purchased this jewel for $1000 needed a new motor new cooling system new new tranny and new suspension parts.

I pulled the old 350 out threw it behind the garage it needed new heads and a full rebuild (the previous owner didn't take care of it) and purchased a freshly built 350. The guy who built it asked me what I wanted done to it I told him surprise me. It came out around 350 HP don't remember the torque. I was pretty pleased and while that was out I sent the tranny off to be rebult. All and all around $3000 thank god for friends if not labor woulda eaten me alive. Well nothing from the previous 350 was salvageable due to the previous owner rigging everything up half assed I had to replace everything under the hood. About $1000 in parts after a discount at orielys.

Shortly after all that my son was born and my wife said I can't dump that kinda money in the truck anymore so from here on out its going to be slow progress.

On Saturday I put new upper n lower ball joints driver and passenger (pain in the ass!) New inner outer tierod ends on both sides. New lug nuts all around new sway bar linkages and today I'm finishing up this quick half ass exhaust attempt before she can pass the va state inspection (boo).

More pics to come.

Located in colonial heights va. N they are good trucks I prefer obs over any other model.

Drove the truck home today from my dads shop no inspection sticker on it no exhaust on it. Back yard alignment with brand new ifs and steering components. It was a 40 mile ride. Let's just say she walked all over the road.

Excuse the dust n the dirt haven't had a chance to clean it.

In case you where wondering why the exhaust is clamped at the end it's because the welder is at the shop 40 miles away.

Some interior pics its rough but that's alright I'll make due.

Due to lack of tools at my house and it's unsafe to drive on the road my buddy is picking it up tomorrow with his rollback and taking it to his shop to do the lower ball joints and wheel bearings and new dimmer switch and a few other miscellaneous things for it to pass inspection. About to be broke again wife is gonna kill me.
