I hope you're upgrading your front end parts too, because they're going to hate life with those 37s

I did because when I tow the coolant and trans temp would get hot. Idk if that was because later on I found out I had a small radiator leak or what. I have 38's and 4.56, personally I think its too much. When I go to a sas I will be doing 410s /4.11s. At70 I am around 2200 rpms on the highway.

What would be the easiest way to do it

If your like most of us, and semi-mechanically challenged, take it somewhere reputable & find someone who knows what they're doing, gears are mostly about install & are easy to screw up.

Yes, I would re-gear at that point, even if it is just to 4.11's, the mechanical advantage will help other (more expensive to fix) parts last longer like JamesPate mentioned.

Are you 2wd/4wd? I would probably just go out and buy a set of Timken or other reputable brand unit bearings now (or start saving) & maybe look into some steering supports/ outer tie rods, our front ends hate life with big meats.

I have OEM BNIB 4.11's for the 11.5". I also have a yukon master install kit for it. I'm wanting to sell, $500+shipping takes both.

Put truck on jackstands and do it yourself.

3/10 difficulty.

This is true. Its really not that hard to do gears, but if you don't get them completely right it goes to hell REALLY quickly. Thus the take it to a shop and do it. I did them in a couple of trucks and its not that bad. The trickiest part is getting the right shims and crap in place. Lots of grease paint to check your pattern.

hes right its a 3/10 job for pro who has all the tools and Knows what hes doing IF you dont get a crap set of gears. speaking with 28 yrs automotive exp and 3 solid doing gears every day all day i can tell you Yukon is your best bet. that set of tires WILL need 4.56:1 gears to regain stock rpm and will wake dmax up after the huge tires. i did not change my gear on my 05 w 3.73:1 but i also had a SCV trans and turned up w EfiLive as far as the pump would allow it ran 14,s on 37s
