the amount of times its been actuated doesnt mean anything, people who have the most problems with the actuator are the ones that sit the most and never go into 4wd.
Jammed a juper wire in the socket for the tcase switch today and the front axle locked in, part is $18 so next time I go to a town with an O'Reillys I'll pick one up. Also wired in a 4 pin trailer connector for my boat today.
Still to do are
-get tcase switch and install
-get some plate and fix my cab mounts
-exhaust, really want headers but probably just going to do stock manifolds and replace the intermediate pipe and the muffler also going to toss in a new O2 sensor
-remove stupid rear abs setup
-figure out issue with rear brakes
-put the fuel filter in
-put the 195* thermostat in
-get and put in a passenger seat belt(springs broke in mine so it doesn't retract
-peal the sticker collection
-tint
Fixed that for you, Cody saw snap he can confirm. My trucks pretty beat inside and out, honestly the only reason I've hung on for so long is that it was my first car otherwise it wouod have been replaced by a short box K10 long ago.
Going to talk to junkyard owner and see if I could buy a complete truck from him so I can swap the grey interior in and put a 5 speed in my truck, if he won't sell me the truck going to see if I can work a deal for all the swap stuff and the complete interior since that's all I want anyway. The long term plan for it is grey with heated leather seats from an OBS tahoe/burb and a jump seat from a NNBS, have thought about doing tell WT rubber floor because in the fall I get in in waders and boots covered in mud multiple times a week and during the spring everything is just a sloppy mess here.
Driveshaft and tcase switch are in, it's officially 4 wheel drive again
New idler arm and frame bracket/pivot, just waiting for paint to dry in my makeshift booth/oven. Painted same hammer tone silver the old one was painted.
