You are all probably tired of my questions by now! After much debate I have decided to only go 2/4 with 236/40/22's for now. I want to make sure that I really want to keep this truck! I like to trade too much! This allows me to go lower and I can keep it at minimal expense. All I will need is spindles and a notch then take off the lift hangers from the flip kit. Anyway, at 2/4 would you use the shock extenders in the rear? The money is finally here and its time to start ordering parts!:rock::rock:

Not sure what tire size you meant to type there. 305/40 or 285/40 would be good for 2/4. I'd go ahead and run the shock extenders if you don't plan on replacing the shocks. If you buy drop shocks they aren't really needed at 2/4. I advise buying new shocks though.

OOPS! 265/40/22 and I will be buying the shocks. The extenders are more for geometry than travel correct?

Ah yea, 265/40 would be good too and leave you more room to go lower. Yea they are for better shock angle but at 2/4 I don't think you will really need them. Unless you just wanna spend the extra $$ lol.

I'm gunna drop my 2000 scsb 5/7 what's the best way to get the one inch drop after the flip kit, I know it's kind of a dumb question but should I get a front or rear shackle? Depending on how it sits I might go 8 in the back, I'm gunna replace everything on my suspension except the leaf springs, I'm gunna do new shackles as well

Drop shackles set at 1". Then if you wanna go to 8" just set them at 2". 5/8 is a nice stance, 5/7 will have a slight rake to it. Both look good, just depends on the look you want.

I know that feel. I need something smaller than 275/40s. Gonna hold out a while and see how these coilover plans are gonna work out though lol.

Parts ordered! Only went 2/4 with 265/45/22 for now. If I decide to go lower later all I need is spindles and a notch. Not sure if this build is worth a thread but I'll post pics.
