So what are thoughts on just doing a 3 inch drop spring up front with a flip and notch in the back? This would save me the expense of spindles as well as all the time in grinding etc and still not having the turning radius I do now. This thing doesn't turn anyway so I cannot imagine worse! This way I could also do McG flip with the weld in AVS (?) notch. Also if I save enough I can still do the helper bags. If this was the old days in a Jeep I wouldnt even buy the flip kit Id just buy perches and weld them in. However I want to make sure all this is removable, with the exception of the notch, in case I ever sell the truck and it needs to go.

Nice man!

That's the exact setup I have on my truck now and I don't have any issues with the ride. I am looking for 1-2" springs because I have some spindles I want to put on and don't really want to be 5" drop up front lol.

I just slapped in some coil spacers....I run 3" drop springs

Only reason I want to change it up is I still have neg camber with just the springs. Don't see any point getting the new cams when I already have the spindles, might as well use them. 1" spacers would be ok but DNW 2" spacers.

my truck only leans .25" can't even tell unless you get out the tape measure. :feellikeasir:

Because it rode bad?

it rode like shit on 3" springs only. my truck saw several setups...and by far the coilovers were the best and money well spent. I wish I did it from the beginning. Ask Moore how much he likes his now that it's on coilovers. The adjustability is really nice, height and comfort can be adjusted.

I wish that coilovers were an option! I am spending too much on this as it is! I have real things money should be spent on but damnit it's time for me to have what I want! lol Im taking off the big boy pants for once and doing this! I like the idea of the 3" spring up front and flip in the back to save money but maybe I should just do the McG 4/6 kit and call it a day! I am just trying to get the best of style and function. I thought if i could save enough doing the springs only I could do the helper bags in the back to still have a truck when needed.
