LED head light bulbs? any info/details on them ?

So an HRI bulb will have the benefits of better then stock out put and the benefits of not scattering light everywhere ?

Yes, that's exactly what will happen. And they're relatively inexpensive too, compared to hids and leds.

But without the hassle of hids imo. No extra harnesses, starving ballasts, discoloration, glare, excessive heat, etc.

Toyota Avalon's have 9011 HIR's, which have the same base size as the 9005. 9012's replace 9006's.

You'll have to trim one tab so they'll actually seat... like so:

I'm running these in my high beams, in conjunction with my Bi-xenon projectors... Can't ask for better :imo:

Also Marc. Have you seen the Mini D2s 3.0 X-lens?

With that ocular shroud they'd look pretty sick in a Silvy headlight :imo:

Tons of guys running led headlights on the powerstroke forum.
Lifetime led I believe they are called. But like $250 for a pair. But they come in 5 and 6k

the only other benefit i see of running an LED headlight is that you can have your lights on for probably 2 days before the battery is dead especially if you have 2 batteries.

so if i get the retro D2 3.0 kit for my low beam and HID bulbs for high-beam and low-beam would that be a prime set up? or should i retro both my high and my low?
