Lost oil pressure im assuming.
oil was clean and full.

weird i was on the phone with a buddy who done blew up 3 of these civic with the same motor the same way mine did... i told him what it was doing he said its gonna lock up hold it to the floor and hope you make it home. rod bearing was gone it wouldnt idle it bearly got over 20 mph but i made it almost 20 miles until it shot a hole in the block.... made it another 5 mintures down the road until it finished off.

twas my birfday this past weekend. So havent been messing with this much but, UPDATE
car is still bloweddded up motor swap is done but having a distributor issue so ima trailor it to CNR performance so they can get it done this weekend.

bullydog watchdog is now istalled, pretty handy display seems kinda cheap but ill eventually invest in something nice
Worked on tune some more idles extremely well
Did have a small issue with valve seals and pcv but i have fixed all that now. I will be posting pictures later of 90mm intake manifold install and elaborate more on the valve seal issues iv had.

Currently babying the truck until my car is back on the road

They should be installed this weekend! Cant wait im so tired of having leaf wrap and also the bouncy ride and bed roll on curves.... Rode with my who has some truck is supercharged, spins yes but still puts the power to the wheels much cleaner and smoother. Ill do i final review once installed and I get some driving time with them!

Manifold installed along with the heads. cover isnt on because i have not yet extended my map sensor plug

This is passenger side PCV, i used a heater hose connector from autozone drilled and tapped into my CAI.

Dat trottle body spacer lolz, fast adapter to keep my old TB was not spending 200 for a X-link it wasnt worth it IMO
 
Well with my car in the shop i cant really spend to much money.

But next plans are 4:56 gears, moser rear cover, and Vic flip kit to replace this DJM crap.
 
Truck looks sweet man, how do you like the new engine mods?

Man id love to beat on her some to get a more familiar with it however 1 its not tuned, 2 I dont want to break it being car is in shop.

Iv been babying it around but the few times i did WOT it it felt very strong although im only spinning it to 6000 rpms at the moment.
Problem now is my converter slips to much at 80-110 so i want to go with lower gears to help it out some.
Or maybe restall to 3600.

But so far im happy. Drove in traffic the converter did well!
 
little update on the car.... Got it back running.

99-00 SI trans
Factory 8500 RPM rev limit :beaker:

Overdrive cruise RPM, this trans is geared extremely harsh. But its pretty fast for what it is.



 
lol trans is from SI civic (performance oriented) so it has stupid low gears. I really like i though compared to my last gears.
These torqueless motors need low gears. Getting up to speed i no longer have to wine it out to high rpms and in 5th (last) i can still accelerate to pass and such.

But from a dig run say a race you rip thru the gears quick they are very short and it tacks up very fast. Im trying to upload a 20-80mph pull vid

lol old motor i blew up blew oil everywhere. Trying to clean it up i still like the engine bay clean on civic for when people look at my swap.
I make it a point to not do like 9/10 honduh fgts do and half ass everything and let the car go to shit
