Excuse all grammatical errors first off.

So i havent been real active lately. Im working to make it more of a habit to be on here posting and helping.
Anyway, going to start this off with newer mods for my previous ones have been done for awhile.

These have been done for quite some time.

Truck 2005 Sierra crewcab
5.3 liter.
6/9 drop
on board air with helper bags
tuned with HP tuners by me
4:10 gears/true trac locking rear
built 4L60E
Centerline Stingray IIIs 275/40 rear 245/45 front
CAI
indash/12"fiBTL
painted trim
hids
esky handles
junk exhaust

So time to make her fast. (not my daily driver)
Ordered in last two weeks so everything isnt here yet with out all the holidays.
EPS cam. 224/230 .609 .607 111lsa
Brian Tooley Racing dual springs kit
Yank SST 4000 billet stall converter
CalSpeed Stainless Longtube headers with Y pipe
Magnaflow 3" 18" muffler
race ready 3" cutout with cutout Y flange
walker intermediate piping & 5ft of 3" 18 guage pipe to run exhaust with
2 summit universal hangers
texas speed push rods
texas speed gasket cam install kit

Received the calspeeds. Quality was worth every bit of 350 bucks.

Me and peyton675 installed them (my neighbor)
Installment went flawless. Lifted truck pretty high, soaked bolts for 2 days, reused old gaskets, disconnected steering link (do not turn steering wheel whiles its disconnected!) but this allows alot more room to slide the driver side header into place. Bolts came out like nothing, one manifold bolt was already broke.
They fit like a glove, they do not hit anywhere. I did have to bend a motor mount heat shield back slightly although it was nothing.

These are the clamps i used, NO LEAKS what so ever. Jegs 3" preformed clamps. Used 4 of them. roughly 10 bucks a pop IIRC.

awaiting the rest of my exhaust pieces to finish.

My springs have also cam in for my cam swap. These are the brian tooley racing dauls.

Please stay tuned for more pictures, and install. Cam has to be ground because it was not a shelf cam, my converter has to be build.
i will update this as i receive and install everything. Feel free to ask questions.

Looks good, get a couple videos up when the cam goes in. I have used the Jegs clamps like you did, I like them not sure if they leaked or not for me because there were about 3 or 4 leaks upstream from them.

Very nice. What's the difference Between those clamps and the clamps you can get from calspeed

That's 6"? Fuck, maybe I am closer to 6" up front then, we look to be about the same! I need to get a measurement to be sure.

The clamps that come with the headers and Y pipe or the generic kind that use the U-bolt..... It actually dents in the piping and sometimes still leak.
These clamps are preformed 2 7/8" on one side and 3" on the other. When you install the Y pipe some of the pipe is expanded to allow the other piece to slide into it. using these clamps that are preformed they cover the whole seam and then some. If look at the picture posted youll see the transition in size, under there is the actual seam where the pipes slide together.

Will do, rest of my exhaust parts will be here next week. Im hoping my stall will be to.
However Geoff at EPS is getting my cam cut, so no telling how long that will be. Its going to have a harsh lope though.

Love that green color. :cheeky:
Its a love hate relationship with me, i feel these new wheels though have done alot for the color of the truck though!

Looks sick.
thanks man! :shakehands:
Always loved this truck. Looks so damn good
Thanks! trying to change it up, but school sucks cant make the money i need!

ITs more like 5 1/2 or 5 3/4 of true drop, i really need to measure it again. However some of the pictures i have of the truck its on the old 275/45/20s which made it appear not as low. with these new smaller tires its really low.

used the same clamps and intermediate pipe when I did my exhaust looks good.

sweet. Yep i was going to let a local shop do it thats badass with exhaust work and quality.
However once i installed the Y pipe i was like hell i can do it myself if i buy that walker piece.
So i ordered everything i needed to do myself, hoping it goes as easy as it looks!

You got the 3" walker piece right? They have one that's an OEM replacement and then another that is a part of a dynomax kit. OEM replacement is 2.75" and the other is 3"

The walker piece will be bolted to ORY, then that ^ behind the walker piece, then a section of 3" pipe with my new magnaflow will follow
are you running your stock bumpstops up front, or no?
they are cut. it was sitting on them
