a local place wanted $200 to redo mine, I'd rather buy one for that price personally!
 
Well today made my decision. I'm lifting it.
my grandpa got stuck out in the field and I drove out in it and pulled him out with no issues.
Went threw everything on the property and only had to rock out once.
 
I would do whatever you want, and not base it on the small possibility that you will need to pull someone out!

It rides pretty decent. Much better with the coilovers...
 
Yeah i know, but it sure was nice being able to cruise out in the field with no issues.

Jared did anyone help you lower yours?
I'm gonna look hard for a set of 20's this week.
regardless if i lower or raise it. i want LTZ 20
 
ill have to find someone who has lowered one before.

And come to think about it, my 2000 that was lowered. it was "in process" of being changed into a show truck.
but the xmember tucked. nor was the bed xmember.

that is probably why that truck drug so bad.
 
iirc, 2000 has a different xmember. I know juan's 99 had one that was different. He didn't have to section his.

I'm going to look at oobs 2wd 1 ton. That'll be new farm truck.
 
May be able to talk him into selling the 4th oobs but not sure yet. The 2wd has blown motor. Blew about 6 months ago. The 4x4 hasn't moved in a while. So it'll be rough

the best? buy coilovers, you can net 4" with just coilovers, but angles may be really bad, blome_racing did this! Coilovers with spindles would probably be better, but you are looking at right at $1k just for your front setup. flipkit out back with drop shackles and great shocks. helpers aren't necessary at all, but could be useful.
 
Well engine light popped and ran as a purge solenoid. Guy at auto zone said it's on fuel tank for the 2003. Looked it up and everything said that it was. But I found one that said was on top of motor?
Well mine is 08/02 and was on top of motor. Score. easy fix. Now let's see if light goes off tomorrow.
