2003 Silverado LT ECSB

That's what I'm thinking. Start with 2/4 if I do wanna go lower later I can sell the kit and go lower.
I feel like if I drop it I'm gonna eventually bag it lol.
17" stars or ltz.
I love my 17s level and lifted look but for lower I think I'll go Ltz
And Cammed yours would have looked sick slammed. You could always switch it up

With you having so much property I would not drop unless you have another vehicle to traverse all the property. But if you have another means than drop that bish

Well I have quite a few vehicles that can cruise the property
This ain't my farm truck lol. So it won't be an issue of having to take it in the field.
I'm moving to a 5 acre plot down the road the has paved road leading too the house

Just go 4/7..you will want to as soon as you get the 2/4 on guaranteed..do belltech 2508 2" spindles, 2" springs and a flip kit with drop shackles set at 1".

i just wanna know what it does.

Started looking a little closer and have a wire that plug into the top part of my shock. :/
does that mean i have electric shocks??
and do i have to have that or can i unwire those and put in normal shocks and just hide the wiring behind dash?

told u :pepper:

Was looking at long travel man but seems like a lot of work and for living in Texas and driving 80 miles round trip (without going off into a field at 90mph lmao) it just doesn't seem like a good idea.

2005_Silverado your truck has been pushing me more towards lowered. Watching it go from level to low just looks good.
And Dakota Idk man

Well eddie's (2005_Silverado) truck is 4/6 and if his truck is making you wanna go low, why not 4/7?

I'm just worried about the scrape from rock road or a rock puncturing a tire.
Biggest rim I'll go is 20" OEM
Dakota do you ever go on rougher roads or just mainly street?
Cause I'd love a Obs 4x4 ecsb as well.
drop mine and use 4x4 for any use on rougher roads.

Our roads here sucks balls so imo I drive on rougher roads everyday lol

but ive driven mine on dirt/gravel roads many times and besides a little scraping it does just fine but im also 5.5/9.5 where you would be 4/6-7 with more clearance

youll want to tuck your trans xmember, notch the bed xmember, dump ur exh before the axle and mini tub the front if you wanna go 4/6 or lower. You might not have to dump ur exh if u can have ur muffler guy tuck up the pipe real close to the bed...i hit pipe before notch.

How much work is tucking xmember and notching the bed xmember? Exhaust is already dumped before axle.
Well my boss has a account with lowrider depot so I can get drop kits 2/4 is 158.16 for kit and 4/6 (what he is recommending as well) is 352
Also can get bag set up there too for helpers if needed.
What shocks are better going low?

trans xmember is just 5 bolts to remove....u grind off the welds on the lower cap, trim the body an inch or 2, reweld the cap, cut side tabs off the frame and weld new ones u fab up urself. OR just buy the $200 KP xmember like i did

Bed xmember is easy....measure distance between the frame at the xmember, find center, trim 4-6" each side of center.

I run Belltech Nitro Drop 2s

Picked up new black emblem. Other looked shitty also got 5k lows and got a set for fogs but aren't wanting to fit in right.
Looking for 20" Oem now. Went to Traders village and guy can order grille and hood for 330. Then will have to get hood painted.
Also want to level it for now. Tired of the rake look.
Don't wanna lower Yet. I'll get to it eventually lol
