Pulled the heads last night. Stock bolts backed off. I wanted to see if any bolts were loose so I used 3/8 ratchet and almost no effort to loosen the back 2 on the passenger head. Block is good. So that’s a relief. Heads are at the machine shop getting checked out. Should be done tmw. Hoping to have the time to put it together this weekend.

I guess I have a buying problem. This 93 Jimmy fell into my lap the other day for next to nothing. 1 owner SLT with 135k miles. All original and stupid clean for its age. No clue what I’m going to do with it yet
Slam it on billets, of course.

That a power pole? How you like itActually pulls it pretty decent. Didn’t put any air in the helpers and still didn’t bottom out anywhere.

I haven’t done the poles because our lakes are stupid deep so it doesn’t make sense. I have a normal trolling motor I just work while I’m up front fishing. Works well.I rarely use it. Thought it would be cool so had the dealer install one. Only time I really use it is if I pull up on a beach.
I’d def get two tho. The few times I’ve used mine, the boat pivots on that one point.
I’m looking at getting one of the trolling motors with SpotLock. The power poles are only good to a certain depth. The SpotLock keeps you locked in no matter what. Took the boat out yesterday and one of my favorite spots had an ass of current rolling through it. Had to stay on the trolling motor the whole time. SpotLock would’ve been amazing to have.
