Static NBS Thread 99-07c

Just dropped my 05. 3/4 with belltech drop shocks. I love the look and ride big bumps are sure to bottom but I am also adding some helper bags ASAP as I have heard it stops the bottoming issue.

Looks good. If you're at only 4" of drop, you're going to have to hit some pretty big bumps to bottom out in the rear unless you're hauling something. The front with those 275/55/20's will scrub on bumps though. Helper bags are a good addition to any vehicle though imo.

I hit with 4", not often, but not always on huge bumps either.

My advice, suck it up and notch. Once you install helpers, you HAVE to ride on air, or take a chance of screwing up the bags. Also, that 4" stance you like will go to about 3" with air typically.

I know it's in this thread somewhere I'm sure, but what would be the next size down from 275/45/20? Noticed I had a flat when I got off work, figured I would buy two new tires for the front. Sitting at about 5/8, and current tires still rub. Thanks in advance.
