Well I got tired of owning a black truck, and as always I wanted something different. So I sold the Ram and ended up with this truck. It is a 2003 White GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax with 207k miles on it. I bought it from my wifes uncle.. He was the second owner and has had it for the last 150k miles (about 8-9 years). He was letting his son use it his senior year of high school. so it is filthy as shit and needs some TLC, but the truck seems really solid. I plan to do a few simple mods and then get it looking better. I don't have big plans for this one other than making it reliable as hell and enjoying it. I have always wanted a duramax and hope that this thing treats me well.

I spent 2.5 hours cleaning and steaming the interior to get it to this point. I am not worried about the stains in the carpet and figure eventually i will swap in some SLT seats so I am fine with that as well.

Things it needs:
Lift pump has been ordered
needs two motor mounts
steering braces

Mods
20x10 Moto Metal 970s and 285/55 Hercules AT (these will be sold as soon as someone wants them)
Bullydog GT tuner (really like this with the screen and all)

Plans:
Deep detail, remove stickers, rear bumper, front grill guard and move front bumper up, clear lights, LED tails, exhaust, new tint. I will also eventually do a small system in it and that should be about it. I will slowly but surely do colormatching and fix cosmetic issues as I have time and money.

Nice! Glad you got a good deal and are happy with it. Can't beat white. If it wouldn't hurt my resale, I'd trade you seats in a heartbeat.

I would trade with you too...I love how cloth feels, but I miss memory seats and all the adjustments on the leather ones.

If I was keeping it I so would. But I don’t plan on keeping this one more than a couple more years. I’ve never owned anything more than 3 years, can’t stop now lol

level those mirrors, get rid of the bully dog badge, and clean up/replace head and tail lights, would make a world of difference

This one just shows you how the truck sits...My driveway has a slope so it always makes it look nose down

This shows how beat the bed is :( it is kind of funny, but this is one of the roughest exteriors to a truck I have owned, but I honestly enjoy having a truck I am not super anal about. Also removed those terrible 4x4 stickers

Only "mod" I have done so far is the LED interior lights. I love having such a cheap mod be so nice.

Honestly I am waiting until I can get the truck to my buddys house (he is almost done with his shop) and we are going to look it over really good. I plan to fix anything and everything that is wrong with it before I start investing money into mods.

Before long I am going to remove and replace the nerf bars. I will more than likely go with a NFAB type bar. Front end will get a little more crank and Bilstein 5100s. I will change out headlights and taillights, and get tint redone.

Also 4" or 5" exhaust as soon as Ebay has another 15-20% off coupon.

Personally, its not a bad looking truck. Id recommend rear fender liners, remove that huge bumper guard. Bull dog decal. stock rear bumper. Its a different truck from there.

You have my bucket of mods nailed. I think those things being done and it would be a completely difference truck. Front bumper is pretty beat up (chips, dirt stains, shit like that) but once I remove the grill guard I will be able to figure that out. I think you can get the front bumper piece already painted from ebay for a decent price.

I got a prepainted eBay bumpers front and rear on my vmax they are decent and the fitment is better than most not oem by any stretch, takes a little massaging but nothing major

Slowly getting there. I plan to still crank the front end up some (haven't touched it since I bought it) With the wide wheels and meaty tires, it needs less Texas Rake IMO. Bilstein 5100's are sitting at the house, so hopefully I will get it to the alignment shop sometime this week. After I do that it will be exhaust and replacing all the lights (especially the cab lights). I am going slow, but hopefully progress with get better.
