IMO. They're not long lost but I've never been around them much except for the last year or so. Totally never expected for them to give me the thing, I figured maybe just a family discount

lol dat uhaul trailer :ffbcs:

Love how light they are, hate the straps/chains. I wish I had been able to get my boss' axle straps and big tie down ratchets. Did not like how much the truck was shimmying/shifting on the trailer on rough roads. I threw 4 of my regular ratchet straps over the frame to help cinch the truck down and keep it still. Oh and for the record FUCK Augusta's concrete hwy system. It's sooo bad, I lost 3 of my 4 straps cuz of how rough the road is. The truck moved soooo much it frayed through them, and I had that sucker down tight

thats how uhaul makes them so the cars move a bit. they just have the 2 straps for the front tires and the safety chains incase they break. you got one of the better trailers, the older orange ones are shit at least up here. kinda wondered why they didnt have chains front and rear to use to tie down, but they have to dummy proof them and try to eliminate damage chains could cause.

Yeah, I understand why it's like that, I just don't care for it. 'Course, this truck has much softer (worn out lol) suspension than most stuff I tow so it moved alot more than I'm used to

I hate tieing down to frame/unibody. Axles or tires so much safer :imo: then no chance of suspension compressing and straps coming off

IMO. That's normally what I do but The truck's suspension is so soft and had all that weight up high from the ladder rack that I wanted to try to limit it. Thankfully my straps lasted almost the whole trip. Lost when I was ~1.5hr out thanks to Augusta's shit ass section of I20, and the last one held on until sometime in the last 30min. $10 worth of straps was worth keep the truck somewhat controlled cuz without them I think it woulda damn near jumped off the trailer
