The jams and underhood are still silver birch. I had the option to do them, but I decided not to. If The truck was red originally, or some other vastly different color I would have done them, for for grey over silver birch i didn't waste my time. Plus when I get tired of it, it'll be less work to remove.
The vonyl comes about .25-.5" in on the jams. We almost painted the truck satin, however me and my body guy both decided a wrap is a better options for upkeep and repair down the road.
Theres still something about the overall package that I dont like. Its either the wheels or the headlights thats not flowing for me. think Im gonna lightly tint the headlights, corners, fogs, and license plate covers to darken them up and see how it looks. In the end tho, its just my Daily driver, so I may just leave it as is. Ive got alot of my plate right now, we just bought another house, my current goes on market monday, and my wifes due early september with a fresh baby.
