Just got my grille in so I started cutting it for the Denali shell. So far so good, just going slow with it.

Well the grille insert idea is a no go. I spent 4 hours trimming and working on it but its just not going to meet my standards so its not going in

that sucks, was interested to see how it would turn out. What are you thinking now since you do not plan to run it?

It would have only looked good if I could get it to look oem but after 4 hours, the way the insert in the grille shell was off. It would bug me so much that I just had to scrap it. I guess for now I will be color matching a gmc emblem, which I have to rebuy. I will probably end up with a billet grille like everyone else.

How about something like this. With everything black the chrome insert will "pop" a bit more and tie into with the polished billets.
