Started my mid sleeve today. 5 hours in and scheduled another 5 hour block a month from now. Shoulder cap will have a waving American flag and all of the roses will be red with green leaves. My tattoo guy really went above and beyond :imo: for what I gave him. Now just need to decide what to do on my underarm to join the two.

Roses will be red and leaves will be green. The snake is done unless I want to add a bit more brown to it, but I'm pretty satisfied as is. Shoulder cap will have a waving American flag that will appear to drape behind the snake as well. Then determine where I want to go from there.

Thanks dude. I'm stoked how it's came out so far. They mentioned about going to have it judged at this tattoo national convention in Rapid City, South Dakota in April once everything is completed. Not sure if I would go to have it judged since I don't think it fits much of the crazy ass criteria, but may just go there for a trip to check shit out.

Yeah I was a bit iffy on the number of roses, but he said once color is added it will give it depth so I won't be concentrating on the amount of them just in an outline. They're good fillers and have a meaning towards the piece once it's all finished up though. Thanks man!
