Static NNBS (GMT-900 07-13)

Friend just lowered his 2011 crew cab. He's a member on here just has never posted up. I'm at work so figured I'd ask while I had a second. Drop in rear is a 7" McG flip but has the parts and is going to raise it up to 5", just has it at 7" until he can put the other parts on. Not sure which rear shocks he has but he ordered everything from Tim so I'm guessing its the shocks he sells.

Quick questions

1.) He said "I've got abs lights and service traction and service stabilitrak"...says he looked and there are no pinched lines. Does he need to unplug and plug everything back in? Something he needs to reset?

2.) "Driver side- frame sits on axle in park.
Passenger- frame bout 1 inch off of axle. Don't understand that." Said he has about a half a tank of gas when I asked. My single cab doesn't seem to have this problem that I've seen. Any ideas? Way the shocks are mounted/shocks used?

Thanks for the input guys :shake:

He decided to install the hangers and lift shackles to make it and is doing that now so I'll tell him to double check everything and mention the alignment thing.

We'll see if going up to 5 changes anything and if not ill tell him to recheck shocks, etc etc.

Sorry but im new to the silvorado game i had a colorado a few days ago lol what the hell do all these abreviations meen LOL i have a '13 silverado exctended cab 1500 with the 4.8

Are u talking about the bars inside the grille? Of so they came like that and he has a gmc over your Silverado. If you want my honest opinion, look into the 2012 HD front ends and go that route. Several people have them on here and are by far one of the best options as far as Silverado front ends.

Recheck the wires, I'd say they are pinched somewhere. My did that when they were smashed between axle and frame

NNBS mean 07-13 GM trucks or GMT-900 trucks.

Same thing I told him. Swears there isn't anything pinched/smashed anywhere. If alignment didn't fix it, I'll tell him to keep checking.
