Important!: So I decided to go lower...not much, but lower without a doubt.

whats a spare? LOL JK JK. mine were trimmed because I ran on 17s a while. other truck I always figured just swap a wheel. from back to front if necessary

I dont know about yall but I have the 16+ McG spindles and dont like them... I lost a good bit of turning radius, like to the point drive-thrus scare me sometimes because I have to go forward, back up and then go again if there really sharp. But its only when turning left, I have all of stock if not more turning right. I plan to swap out to a pair of our Belltech spindles before much longer. After that I will sell my set of McG that I painted black before install so they wouldnt rust or anything.

As far as parts for you drop Jared I would go this route give/take what you decide.

2/4 Drop
Front - 2"-3" Belltech Pro Coils set at 2" Drop
Back - 6" Belltech Flipkit w/ 2" Lift Shackles and AirLift Helpers
With Belltech Street Performance Shocks all around.

I mean reason I say this setup for you is because when you decide to go 3/6 all you would have to do is remove front spacer and make the Pro Coils 3" since they are adjustable and then remove your rear lift shackle and you have 3/6. Its easy, will ride great and wont cost you any more money in the long run besides a notch.

Some pics of 3/6 I dont really have any of a 2/4 that I know of, these pics just gives you a good comparison of a really low static vs. a great everyday comfertable ride height.

If you do get the 17" spindles then either plan on finding a 18" or bigger spare wheel or you need to grind down both lbj studs if you have a flat to run your 17" spare or you can pull a rear wheel off to put on the front then put the spare on the rear. 16" spindle you wont have to do that.

some reason i had to trim on the passenger side bolt. it had carved into the wheel just a little so the grinder came out and it trimmed just to where the threads started. did both sides to be safe

Colyn.

Thanks colyn, didnt realize just how much i missed that bitch til you posted those

Sorry bro, but that was a good day and I still need to send you all the pics I dont even remember how many I took... LMK next time your in town before you pass me headed home, lol.

Jared, with any coils you can add a cheap $12 vatozone spacer if needed. I have a spacer on my driver side to correct lean. Just dont want you to think that the BT pro coils are the only spacer style coil out there. You can add to any coil if wanted.

thats true Bryant.. unsure on this cut coil.. but this was ecsb pre spacer

Thanks Bryant, are they engineered to ride better with that spacer? Does the spacer make it ride any different? I was told it does. I'm ok with changing it later down the road if I need to, and just going with 2" coils for now. If I do decide to get a DD things may go another route with the truck. But for now I am not notching at all.

275/55 will work fine from what I have been told on the 2/4...anyone have differing input?

I think for now I am doing coils and flip, I have read more bad than good on leafs. Only reason why I contemplated it is because of how bad my shit rides now. I've even convinced myself that the original owner may have added different leafs...shit is STIFF. Any way to tell?

I wish I could show you guys how it rides so you had a better idea. I guess now I have started getting bumpsteer. This truck is giving me a huge headache, and I won't even attempt to sell until it is all figured out. So I might as well go lower and fix it and have fun until I do decide to officially sell it.

I have no clue about the engineering on the BT coils. I know that it doesn't hurt anything to run a lift spacer up front. just pull the coil isolater and replace with the lift spacer. It will settle some, but not much.

I have procoils in my obs, obviously never driven on em lol. the spacer is solid, used with OE isolator unlike a spacer would be. I was pleased with the way they felt/lined up, and the thought of adjustability rather than buying extra spacer on top of the cost of springs, though, tony (norcalss) gave me one hell of a deal. Sorry colyn

Thanks Tyler! It needs just one more inch IMO though...

Anyways, Jared I was not aware that you were running 275/55's... I recommend 2" max until you get smaller tires if you plan too. It will work, I mean im running 275/45's with somewhere between 5.5" and 6" drop up front. But it will rub like crazy and you will hate it trust me I know.. I just go by the saying Form > Function but from the sound of it you arent one of those guys and it will make you hate being lowered.

Austin - Its cool man, I cant do those awesome low deals yet because my dealer price is still higher than Tonys because I havent been with BT as long but give me a few months and the more I sell the better my prices will become for everyone.
