Paint Chips

So finally got to wash my truck the other day, and I found a bunch of rock chips in the usual places on front edge and top of the hood, and a big one on the roof that looks to have some rust starting in it. Most of the chips are 1/4" or smaller, the one on the roof is roughly 5/8"x 1/4." What do y'all use to fix them? I've seen people suggest dr color chip on other forums, want to know if that would be a good kit or if there are better ones on the market. The kit is for my 2012 Black Dmax if that helps, and also looking for one for my 2002 White 1500.
 
ive got 4 sets of dr color chip. great stuff. use it on my white ecsb, nali, silver lexus, and brown benz, all match perfectly
 
touch up paint. layer it on there meaning, put a coat let it dry put a coat let it dry till its a little taller than the factory paint. Wetsand it flush, and polish.
