Opinions on this drop for the front

anyone lowered ever play with a dual rate setup? with a small softer spring on top and a normal spring on the bottom. that way little bumps and stuff are taken away by the soft spring?

my only complaint about dropping with mcg stuff is the bumpsteer....fuck this bumpsteer. Ride on their springs is nice and soft, oem-like....but the bumpsteer...fuck it

People expect too much out of lowered fullIsize suspension imo

My thoughts EXACTLY.
People have to remember a truck suspension wasn't designed to be low, its designed to pull and be strong. Hell, trucks ride rough stock. Coilovers sound great according to jared. But honestly, my truck rides fine enough for me. Does it have bump steer? Yea. Does it bounce on big bumps? Of course. Would I use coilovers? Heck yea I would. But to me, the ride is okay enough to not shell out the extra $600. So its really up to the owner.

try just heims for now, that can help with the bumpsteer, using smaller bumpstops can help too if you are on stockers

My truck has zero bumpsteer but I still want coilovers, control arms with uni balls and hiems....

you would be fine without control arms, uniballs are cool, but not necessary. Coilovers would be enough imo with heims and tubs. If I were tubbed things would be really nice

I was told today that the 265/35r22 did not support the load for my truck? That shit matter cause I've seen plenty with that size tire. Lol.

I have eibach 2" drop coils on my truck (bought it like this) and the ride is HARSH! I mean like fly out of your seat harsh the rebound is the worst its like theirs not enough travel and the wheel want to come off the ground and bump steer kept you on your toes! I tried a few different shocks helped but still horrible swapped the bump stops to shorter pair made a HUGE improvement with bump steer lost about 90% of it

i'm swapping to DJM 2" drop lower control arms and stock springs (1/2 coil cut) for a 3" drop hoping it will soften up the ride while bringing it down 1 more inch, I lowered a few trucks always used spindles and always had a good ride once I get the engine done i'm probably going to go coil overs "if" the DJM arms dont help

idk if your tires are going to clear being a inch lower

mini tube is a must hopping it will get me buy for a little while, 255 50 20 is 1 inch shorter 30" over all height going to try that size see how it go's I dont mind a "little" rub here and there but your right the current 255 55 20 are not going to be happy in the front fenders lol
