What's up all? I came across the site looking for header options for a Chevy Avalanche. I am in the process of looking for one and think I found the perfect one. It's an 02 Z71 with 92k miles on it. Seems to be very clean and well taken care of. I looked around the site for a while before actually joining. Seems like a great place and everyone is laid back. Didn't see anyone with an Avalanche so hopefully it will be "cool" enough for everyone here. It won't stay stock for long! I have already bookmarked "Huck's" Cal Speed header thread. I assume they would fit the same in an Avalanche correct? I read there may be some fitment issues, but the headers seem like a great deal for stainless. Had Pacesetters on my 2000 SS Camaro and while they fit great, the armor coating did not hold up although the car never saw snow or rain.

If anyone cares, I will tell a bit about me...

Name is Andy from Des Moines, Iowa. Currently working on putting back together my 2001 Z28 (hence the screen name). Bought it last fall with the motor blown for $2800. The car is in great shape for having 139k on the body. Sold off the T56 for a 4L80E since it is now rocking a LQ4 6.0L with a 76mm turbo. A buddy and I built the turbo kit for it and are in the process of getting everything wrapped up. Should be working on the tune in the next few weeks if time permits.

I have owned 4 different fourth gen fbodys, and have been a member on LS1tech for quite some time. Once the car is done I will be putting more time into the Avalanche that I will hopefully be picking up next week.

Anyway, look forward to being here and meeting new people.

I have a thread, as well as Da_Rebel too, let us know if you need any help after looking through those.

I don't see why they would not fit, but feel free to call or email Cal Speed, or pm him here, just know, 4x4 will have some fitment issues with the Cal Speeds

Thanks. I have seen the fitment issues with the Cal Speeds. I will shoot them an email today while I am at work.

Welcome. Pics!!!

I have one pic of the Avalanche on this computer, it is attached at the bottom of this post. Here are a couple of the Camaro though. Exterior wise it looks like your basic plain jane Z28. Will be getting de-badged though for the hell of it.

Welcome man, z28 will be a fun car for sure. You'll enjoy the cal speeds on the avy as well, I like mine alot. Keep us updated!

Yeah the Z28 will be a blast. First stalled auto car I will have owned. All the others were six speed manuals. Got tired of going through transmissions, clutches, and hydraulics on my 2000 SS. It was cam only with a 100 shot. The Z28 will be a touch quicker, ha.

Hola señor!

Thanks man.

Sorry guys, missed your postings. Was in the process of uploading the pics.
