My slow build thread(shit wagon, hack job)

What I ended up doing while I didn't have a spanner, is drop the top stud portion down to take the pressure off the cap. And just used a hammer and punch on the flanges to turn the collar, probably not the best way but did get the job done so I could get the truck off the lift.

So you were able to get some lift out of it? I'm hoping it will give me at least an inch lift.

But, I think I am going to have it tubbed anyway this week.

Yeah there is some lift, I think at the very highest on the threads might be close to a 3" drop if I had to guess. About 5 full turns comes out close to 1/2" on my truck

Yeah they're all the same, I just borrowed one from my friend. It's for tein coilovers, so they all should work. Would be pretty simple to make one too

nope...not going that low static.

But looks awesome!

I'm not disagreeing at all, just not practical out here, these roads are trash.

Why the fuck didn't I listen to myself?

No real updates yet, truck was damaged a couple days ago. Tubs are still getting done, trying to get an HD hood, getting my rear bumper welded (spare tire access hole) and painted to match, rolled fenders and drop shackles. And what bodywork and replacing that is needed.

and going back to the beginning of this thread, I sure did delete a shit ton of pics...

jared, was the hit the same fender that was already fucked up?

yes, but it wasn't fucked, just has a 3" dent from some hit and run jackass. And the inner lip from the tire catching it. So yeah, I guess it was fucked
