MSD for street use

I am thinking of building a mild carbed 350 for my 88 and wondered how MSD is with constant use. I know its great for racing but I wanted to know how well a setup like this MSD Ignition 85551K MSD SB/BB-Chevy 6AL Ignition Kit for a street truck, from time to time it might see some 1/8th mile action.

i personally hate those 6AL boxes, you need to disconect it any time a shock will go through the system, IE welding on something, if the batt might arc, ect.

i prefer an HEI style, or if you want to spend the money a magneto


i do have that exact kit sitting in a cabinate right now.
