Alright ive had the leds in my gauges for a while now and i am still clueless as to how to install the hvac ones i read its the same process just take em out and replace with leds but thats not the case bc theres wires that are connected to each light for the hvac system.

also i am contemplating whether or not to do the floor 4x4 controls in the same blue leds bc when my lights are on it looks kinda off (as in not right)

Those are the wrong bulbs for the AC panel. I think those will work in your headlight switch tho.

well shit guess i gotta research the right bulb, could have sworn i read a thread somewhere that had the bulbs listed with the writeup of the led swap and those were the ones listed...must have read wrong oh well i can try them in the headlight switch if not i can try to get rid of em and get some for the headlight switch, floor 4x4 shift, and hvac

alright i took a look at it again and i got the right leds for the hvac i just need just the bulb my question now it how the heck do i get the tiny bulbs out of the hvac retainers? am i just gonna have to break them in order to remove them?

heres the headlight switch im clueless as to where the bulb is. on the bottom?

by the wires? and any clue how to take the headlight switch apart? im kinda afraid to mess with it now bc im goin out of town tomorrow and dont wanna risk fucking something up

I don't recall doing mine it's been 2 years. But i think i pushed the tabs in, pm scotty boy he knows a lot about this stuff.

Pm replied. The gray circle on the bottom is the bulb. Turn it a 1/4 turn with a screwdriver to pop it out. No need to take the switch apart.

awesome dude thanks! ill try to do it not sure ill get to it til the weeked bc im going out of town tomorro and dont wanna start taking stuff apart and not have time to put it back together

so i got the hvac bulbs in just pulled em out of the sockets (with needle nosed pliers) CAREFULLY and broke one of the stock bulbs while getting it out, freakin pliers kept slipping off and so i squeezed a little harder and the bulb shattered. still got it out and replaced all of them.

shitty pic but with my phone. (may end up getting dif bulbs i got the 100 degree angle ones and seems like they dont light up everything evenly so im gonna get the 120 degree ones) says the 120 degree bulbs are a 5 bulb brightness compared to 3 bulb brightness.
