Yeah I could see that happening to get it to sit level.

I dunno, the claws and wheels were just a spur of the moment idea that sounded good. Realistically it isn't a good idea to spend that much right now for me, so I'm probably just gonna replace the terras.

I'll scope out a set of keys and front shocks for the summer and save the rest towards the 6L for the rcsb. I think I'd be more happy with the motor than a $2k wheel and tire package on the DD :crazy:
 
new 265 terras or whatever, 2 in shackles in the rear and the rest of the money of the 6.hoe. What tires do you have on the rcsb?

If I buy shackles, they're only going on the rcsb.

I have 275/45-20 General Grabber UHPs for the summer and 235/65-16 (I think) Cooper Discoverer AT3s on the winter wheels.

Stop this. I thought I had my mind made up on a 6L. I'm always going back and forth. Your rcsb is basically what I wanna do with mine, big power and a 6spd swap. After owning both a built 6L and a boosted truck, what do you prefer for a truck that won't be a DD?

my vote is boosted 4.8L. Over even a bolt on supercharger like Brandon runs. Quick easy and reliable.

Alright, so I'm deciding on 285 Terra's seeing as I can get them from Jegs for $199/tire with free shipping. Also throwing the 6hoe up for sale to fund 4.8 boost goodness. Figure I'll do it in two-ish parts: Isky triple 12 and supporting engine mods, then the actual turbo kit. Plus I can throw the flex injectors I snagged on pt.net on the 4.8 when it's cammed for the time being.

Now, who wants to donate? :cheeky:

yeah jacks. im sure he would help you put it in as well, he told me the same thing if i wanted it we could put it in in a day and put a base tune in it until i have mike at new era throw a good tune at it. he has been trying to get me to take his trans/turbo kit and id give him my stock trans if he turns the truck in to get a 2014.
