JBlack151's 2011 Silverado CCSB Build Thread

Just a few recent random pics to update the thread with.

I have a photo shoot coming up once I get time to fully detail the truck.

New winter wheels and tires will hopefully be ordered very soon if these damn baby delivery hospital bills ever stop coming in!

Hey John, what was your process of installing the light bar? You drilled holes throw the bumper bar? And how did you hook up the wiring? I see a lot of guys wire them to the fogs but I see yours was on without the fogs. Looks great!

how are the 4.10s with the 35s and the 6spd and what are your fender measurements?

also I think if you got the split grille it would look soooooooooo good on there.

The guy who installed my lift and my
BBP tune is a dealer for the light bars. He fabricated some mounting brackets from scratch and attached them from inside the bumper.

As for the wiring, I have it hooked up to a separate switch on the dash in the picture below. Eventually when I can get a hold of the new style 50" lightbars coming out I'll hook that up to the same switch. I don't know when the new 50" bars will be out but I hope soon

I absolutely love the 4.10s with the 6spd. And the Black Bear tune was icing on thr cake. I do a lot of highway driving and it works perfectly. Not sure if I posted before but I did GMPP in the rear and Yukons up front.

I love the split grilles but have a few other "To Do" items before I go that route. Getting my winter wheels/tires in priority right now.

I'll get those fender measurements for you later since I didn't take them again when I raised the Bilstiens up to 8.

Had some shots taken of the truck this weekend. The actual files look better than these since they were reduced for the forum. I'm really happy with the way they came out.

And my favorite....
