Thinking about raising the front bumper to eliminate the gap. Whats all involved in doing that?

i think your right Chris^ because its a shorter cap and how they got away with not putting a spacer like the GMC's
 
You're only talking about closing the gap a little right? When me and Tony did my bodylift, we just added some washers on top of the pucks. Idk if it would work with stock brackets but you might could just throw some washers under the mounts

should be room for a few washers with the stock brackets. when i first bought my nbs the bumper was crooked af and i straightened it with washers and closed up the gap a bit

Mount the FASS inside the frame, it kills a clean truck to have 2 huge filters hanging down
 
There's a metal plate near where the bed meets the cab, which is where I mounted mine

Ordered an edge cts2 also. Now debating between tie rod sleeves and hd tie rods.. only reason im considering the hd's is because the truck has 145k on it. Tie rods still seem decent though

Imo if I were going to do anything to tie rods I'd just replace the whole thing.. I don't like those sleeves and I think they could still break.. I forget the price difference but I beat the shit out of my truck and my rare parts tie roads don't seem to care

Thats the direction Im leaning, I like how beefy the rare parts rods look. Would be cheaper to just do the hd ones anyway vs sleeves and new tie rods. Also looking at getting an S&B intake. I know it isnt 100% necessary at my power level but my air filter needs replaced and stock air box is cracked so fk it.
