I have searched through to look and I haven't found step by step installation. Because it will be the first time for me to install something like this, I've done shackles and that's it. But if someone could give me a link or tell me how to install a flip kit with notch. Thanks.

I did mine in the driveway like this..
-put truck on jackstands
-remove rear wheels
-put a jack under rear end and jack it up to hold the weight
-unbolt the ubolts holding the rearend to the leafs
-let the jack down
-unbolt rear leaf spring bolts and loosen front bolts, allow them to drop down
-swing the rear end to one side over the leaf spring then center it back up over the other leaf
-make sure the rear is centered and jack it up
-bolt leafs back in place and tighten
-install flip kit hardware and u bolts with the rear end now on top of the leafs
-torque everything and done

May not be the method that everybody uses but it worked for me.

On my mcg bolt in notches it just took the passenger side notch and set it against the frame flipped on the outside of the frame rail.
-Marked where to cut notches.
-drill a pilot hole in each corner of where you marked.
-cut down the sides and across the top of your marks.
-set your notch in place and secure with a c clamp.
-make sure it is where it needs to be and mark holes for bolts.
-drill bolt holes.
-bolt notch in place and tighten.
-done.

cody and I welded a square tube on top of the frame, right where you cut out the notch...that way it would help reinforce that spot.

Just like this

then all u gotta do is notch the bed xmember since that would normally rest on the frame.

cody was being lazy when we did notch...said welding was faster than drilling :roflmao: I did helpers like a week later on my own...poor drill smoked 2-3 drill bits
