CUB's 07 Silverado

I've never shaved a tailgate handle, but I used to have a 1987 Cutlass and I shaved all the door lock and trunk lock holes. I actually used aluminum sheet metal and JB weld. After the JB weld fully cured for a day or two, my lil brother went over it with bondo, and blocked it out more times than I can count. I had the car painted in 1999 and I had the car until 2006 (I only sold it because it was flooded in Katrina and had too much rust). And all those years it never cracked or anything, you could not tell at all where the lock hole used to be. I had body shop guy look surprised as hell when I said how I shaved the locks, one guy thought I was lying, he was swearing it should have cracked using JB weld.

17mpg, but fuck a V6 right. :smirk:

Thanks man. I'm trying to cover this color up one day lol. Wasn't my first choice.

Agreed with both statements. I get 18.5 according to mine though :cheeky: sucks considering V-8s get the same.

I wanted a white truck when I got mine.

cub, did you roll the pinch weld on the bedside wheel wells? i noticed that my right side, if the rear end flexes just right, that pinch weld cuts the outside of my tire just a little bit

Matte colors.... Yes
Chyea

No sir, haven't had to do any rolling.

Dafuq.. How often do you reset it? Now that my tailgate is back on and I cleaned my K&N its at an average 17. I wonder how accurate these things are. I think V8's get worse cuz they prob have their foot in it. Witt's 4.8 gets like 13mpg he said

ok...i think its just the backspacing on these wheels or something...gonna look at it closer tomorrow

I'm getting 11.1 on my 6.2 and 14.8 on my 5.3... it sucks but it could be worse I guess.

Cub you're truck would look TITS in a matte blue wrap imo.

:cheeky: I just did my first wrap on a 89 RCSB dually. Hasn't really have me that much problems so far. I think my truck will be easy. No body lines or molding. Most of the panels are flat. We'll see
