You could also just put a regular hid if you want, but I have seen a comparison of cree leds actually being brighter than hids for reverse lights.

Colyn. Look into cree leds for your reverse. I plan on doing some stock silvy tails (if I can't get mine back to red) and cree leds and remove the bumper lights.

A few of the guys on the Duramaxforum have run these with out an isuue

Well I pulled the trigger on some 55w 5k for the bumper from vvme I can let you know when they come in of the quality compared to some of the bast companies I've used

LEDS are fine.

HIDS in the reverse light is a terrible idea. Jogging the ballasts is a good way to blow them up.

Im about ready to order all my front leds.. 1 pair - 5k 360* 194 bulbs, 2 pair - 5k 3157 switchback bulbs then hids will be after that..

Just ordered some from VVME cause they were a dollar cheaper than DDM :lol:.

I was going to do the switchbacks but with some people having issues with trying to get them to work properly they just arent worth the extra cash to me

Buddy of mine is going to help me install them and do the wiring to swap from drls sockets to turn sockets in bumper lights that way it will be all white when driving then when I turn that whole light will flash orange...

Yea, that's how mine are set up now. Not a hard thing to do. I have all amber now and going back to all white.

I dont understand what yalls problems with the switchbacks are? Ive heard running cheap leds in the 194 bulb socket causes them to be crazy....

My 194's were from V-led's. Switchbacks worked awesome for a couple months, then they started to flicker when ever i took the truck in and out of park. And if I had the fogs on the driver side would not return to the running color white. My connections were all good on the resistors too. Said fawk it and removed them.

TBH not sure why anyone would want 24V anything on a vehicle that's 12V.

Like dad said, he wonders if it's not for trucks like his 7.3 with two batterys? I was just confused why they sell a 9006 kit in 24V....
