Surprise!

Dont know how this happened, but it did. Can this be popped out or fixed by paintless dent repair? What is the cheapest way to get this fixed without buying a new fender? Thanks!

Don't think PDR will work on that. Thats a tad too big. Could be wrong though.

its worth a shot if you find a good PDR guy, i had a decent sized crease in my old truck from a shopping cart mishap lol and he got it all the way out

Odds are pdr probably won't work as its on that crease, it could be popped the majority of the way out but it would need a little bondo to be perfect imo

its fixable. pdr might leave the panel weak in that area though. go to a body shop and see what they say. same with a pdr person

Yeah i took it by my old jobs body shop today and talked to a buddy there, he says its possible but not guaranteed - the fact that it got that body line on the fender is the problem he says. Once I get it over to the body shop for other paint stuff ill get that sucker looked at. Thanks yall, keep the suggestions coming.

I had a similar dent in my fender mine was not quite as bad and got it pulled/filled, still wasn't as big or that bad, but in a similar location.

no need for a new fender in my opinion. try to get it pdr, more then likely youll see some stuff just not as bad. at the point of pdr though, its probably almost if not ready to put bondo on. and all you need is to paint the fender. with a good paint, blacks not really a bad color to match. cheap paints can have a major brown tint.

He did a two by four dent in my hood i got on the hwy with sone grandma dodged a 24" piece of 2x4 and still hit it bouncing iting my hood and across brand new headlight and running lights! Bitch kept on driving too!

Thanks Ryan, was kinda hoping you would impart some knowledge to this thread. Im definitely going to try to PDR it first, then ill go from there - ill update when i know more.

Yeah that crease is what really worries me. Im too far from mansfield to justify the drive when I can get it (hopefully) popped for free or very cheap around where I live, thanks though.

^no problem man. lettuce know how it turns out. with no fullsize, im not on either forum as much anymore:(. but when i get on and see paint threads, i try to help out
