07 classic vmax build thread

Carrier bearing is the bearing between the front driveshaft and the rear. Any time a 2 piece drive shaft is removed it should be balanced, like a tire removed from a wheel. That's probably your problem. Had that issue on my old s10.

Fokken hate 2 piece driveshafts. I'd get a 1 piece made imo.

I know what it is, Just don't know how to tell if it's bad lol. I hate my 2 piece. Mostly because it's all rusty and shit. I want a polished one piece

If what he said has any truth to it, about it needing rebalancing after every removal/reinstallation, then yours is in need of a rebalancing.

why would it though

front part is balanced. rear part is balanced, so it doesnt matter what way you put them in or together, it will be balanced unless someone bent it, or knocked a weight or something off.

Kinda what I'm thinking, but what do I know? I'm a gay 12 year old keyboard warrior

Ordered the image dynamics ctx65cs for the front doors and a 4 channel through work. Not my first choice of amp but the prices I get on them, not passing it up.

Also I trade 05gmc my stock bumper for his oem Denali heads, candied tails should be done this weekend, he had to clear them before the candy since the candy didn't like the adhesion promoter on the plastic lol.

Where u work

Best buy and O'reilly's. I get insane deals on kicker stuff at best buy, so I have one of their new kx1600.1 for my sub and just ordered a kx400.4 for the doors. I've always been against kicker and would never run their subs/speakers but these new kx amps surprised me. They're pretty efficient and for the price I paid for them I can't say no lol.

That clunk you feel when you go over bumps is your intermediate steering shaft. Both of mine do it. I have one new iss at the house but haven't bothered installing it yet.

 I spend money on mods and just ignore the problems that's why I have problems

I've always heard that but never have looked into it lol. Do they get play in them or what actually goes wrong with them? Never understood how a shaft goes bad
