05 sierra slow build

looks good but i would have done white. Blue doesnt match and is too harsh for me old eyes.

i had mine it white. switched to blue for the following.

1) The cluster has a blue film built into it so the white will turn out a mild blue.

2) the white bulbs burn out much faster.

3) the white has more "hot spots"
 
Cornell has white leds. iirc he peeled the blue film off the back of the cluster. also cornell is on a whole different level of truck game though as well

cornell has them, idk about GM but yota is just single bulbs. I believe GM is a strip?

IDK i just think blue looks ricey :shrug: Wasnt blue before so thus not matching. I like subtle when going with interiors. Bright blue would burn my eyes

everything on mine is blue its not bad at all.

GM is bulbs that are part of the cluster main board. mine has been converted to LED strips as they seem to last longer, have less hot spots and are easier to install.
 
yea all I mine are solder to the board. that's why i choose blue, to change appearance. interior needed something besides denali dash and led interior. gotta give it some life. I may go ultimate rice and get a blue led strip to lay across my sub box to have a blue glow in the back.

Truck looks great man, just looked through the thread, was just thinking about buying those cleared heads and swaping that clear reflector into denali heads just the other day, Don't know if it'd work tho
