drunk lady hits my truck....carnage and advice for rebuild parts

i dont have the report, no. they might drop it off tonight but im not sure. all they gave me was the "accident exchange form"

I forgot that you had winter wheels/tires. I'd probably just throw those on, sell what you've got being forward about the damage and put the money toward an entirely new setup.
 
depending on how hard the other car hit you, I'd be concerned about all suspension components, balljoints stressed/fractured? spindle where the tre goes into it, tire being out of round possibly? Wheel having stress cracks? And steering rack having leaks or stress cracks? But all those depend on how hard it was hit. I would definitely look over the steering rack thoroughly though to make sure it's not damaged.

please get away from the black wheels. your truck would look so much better with a chrome or polished or machined finish wheel.
 
james has the chrome ones so thats why i chose to do black of those ones. dont think my truck could pull them off. id have to get colormatched handles, mirrors, keep the front end chrome, get stock tinted tails etc. i wanna colormatch the front end and black wheels works. its been a predicament though. if i could find a nice set of polished wheels id run them since they are summer only.
 
you figure for all the cost to colormatch every plastic front end, billet grille and shit it would be way more than id be able to afford. would it be nice to do so? sure, but the money will never be there to do it. gotta make it look good on what im able to afford.
