06 ecsb 6.0/80e swap skreet truck build

Static Compression Ratio - LQ4 stock is 9.4:1. Wouldnt take much to bump that up given where youre at with the build.

idk what that is, where it is, how to change it...any of that. Just gonna slap a cam in it and send it honestly

Oh I see. Real quick like here is what you could do - the compression ratio is 9.4:1 on an LQ4. On an LQ9 its 10:1 giving it that extra HP bump. On an LQ9 they used flat top pistons to get the extra compression. You could easily just swap to a thinner head gasket and get the boost in compression ratio. And since youre going to have to tune anyways, why not.

Or you could just slap a cam in and be done.

< $100 at a machine shop to install new cam bearings. Make sure you send the cam with the block to have it fitted. Sometimes the bearing IDs are a little tight to the cam and need a little machining to get the cam in.

this isnt a $100 dollar fix. I get what you're saying, and it might even be relatively cheap. But this will definitely not be a $100 dollar fix

Got a converter made for my brothers car and mine and both of them where super tight and no where near what they were supposed to be launching and flashing
