06 ecsb 6.0/80e swap skreet truck build

Alright so dude that was working on the truck came across a deal where a shop was going out of business and he bought a couple cars and a few motors from them. One of them was a MINT looking lq9 that was sitting there for a few years apparently. Pulled the heads off and it looked great, pulled oil pan off and looked even better. Said fuck it im gonna run it. Go to swap cam in and surprise number 2 came out just like my other motor. At this point I threw a tantrum like a 2 year old and after I was done cleaning up all the shit I threw everywhere I dropped it off at a machine shop for a rebuild.

Truck is running, 400 miles on it so far almost done breaking it in. Can't go full romp yet but this thing is pretty fucking fast. The 4l80e is SO FUCKING BUTTER I love it. Maybe its just the ptc idk, I love it so far

All work done by KBK garage in owings maryland, he does random builds and alot of truck turbo kits too so if you guys need one let me know I can get you hooked up so long as you aren't pressed for time.

Yeah Thompson said 500 miles and Richard said one heat cycle, drop the oil and filter, and get going lol. Obviously limited by tune til full wot pulls happened but I figure if his stuff has stayed together then mine should too

1600 miles on the swap so far. Getting dyno tuned next monday so we'll see how that goes. This thing is a blast. Mpg is god awful, burned through a whole tank of gas in pretty much 2 days driving around, oh well atleast it sounds cool.

Gonna put heim joints in and see how those do. Probably gonna put it off cause it's really expensive to get this thing aligned but if it will ride better then fuck it im already a few thousand deep in suspension. Might as well.

Been thinking about picking up a new daily. Really want nnbs escalade but gonna be a few months before I can buy one. That post about the suburban ltz's really got me sweating those but 6.0 gas mileage is quite awful. Would much rather spend 10grand than 20-25 but escalades are so baller... decisions decisions
