It was so cool. It's using suspension from an '87 vette, trans and rear from a 2nd gen camaro iirc, and the tank for the bags is the whole frame.
 
Well, yes and no. Once the air is in the bags they'll hold it, no need to rely on the frame any more. But yeah, essentially he's fucked if he does. He was telling me that what started as a good idea to use the frame turned out to be the most tedious part of the whole thing. After he welded everything and added air, he found over 50 leaks at the welds :rofl:
 
I don't think I'd be able to trust it lol. How thick are the walls on his frame?

I dunno honestly. The guy is a decent welder and does fabrication work in a retired capacity. I'd want someone else to test it before driving it for sure :crazy:

Yeah in didn't hear the story on the motor choice. He said he's swapping it to a carb and distributor because EFI is foreign to him haha.
