I had the same choices and the guy who built my axle had connections at Dutchman which is why we went that route. So far they have been great!

As for the NFamus to do list:

- Body Drop
- Shave stake pockets, 3rd brake light, XM antenna and maybe wiper cowl
- Add 2 more compressors because big ass truck takes forever to lift
- Design and build the engine bay and clean it up. This is why I haven't touched it is because I want to really dress up the engine bay.


If anyone wants to help, I'm about to start looking up engine bays that were cleaned up real nicely for ideas.

Once this is done I will bring her back and probably go straight to paint.

Just curious why no engine driven comp? I'm sure it'll be hard to fit under the hood but they're sooo much nicer then electric.. A 209 fills up pretty quick a 210 fills up fast as fuck and no annoying comp sound

Pretty much lack of room. Not really sure why that wasn't originally an option because it never came up or because he knew the mods I was going with and didn't want to risk it, but at this point there is def no room. So I'll just have to make due with what I have, so I'll just end up running 4 compressors.

Also trying to put together ideas for engine bay

Thinking smooth firewall, at this point full tubs (not sure if I should do full tubs like blue or square it in like the other), and I'll replace the cheap plastic radiator cover with a nice cover with some design in it and that will cover each angle.

I believe this is the intentions as of right now, fill out the tubs and smooth the back firewall, and a nice radiator cover more like the silver one.

The wires I will leave until I get it back and we will work on tucking everything and adding LED's since it's so dark.

Definitely not a professional job here but I added a detail to the side. May be more than you were wanting but it's simple and clean imo.

Would be super clean to have the outline done in silver leaf with 2 shades of grey or silver for the other parts.

Def going in the right direction of what I am looking for and this brings up so many discussions in my head of what I am looking for that I've been debating for awhile...

I know I want a little red in it, but I like the mostly silver looking at it

-do I start it from the rear door like you did or the front?
-do I flip it around and start with a pinstripe from the front fender and let it get bigger along the bedside and end it there with a nice pinstripe on the gate

I might have to get with the sexy Cuban and put together some options and see what I have. I know some will like/love the idea of adding and some won't at all. The way I look at it, I have to see it and say that's it, that's exactly what I want. If I don't, she will just stay black with a pinstripe on the gate keeping it simple. It's really testing ideas to see if this is the path I want to take...

You hit it right there.

We all have opinions, and some will and some won't align with yours. We all have ideas of how to spend your money to suit our personal style but when it's the opinion that matters most. It comes down to who's swiping their card.

With that said

I too see red being a great accent, and I also have always envisioned the stripes coming from the front. But, that quick render looks really good and if you could d a way to tie a stripe on the gate in with that detail that could be money. And maybe the red comes in as a pinstriped accent in that painted detail or maybe it's a candy clear coat over the silver leaf which could look really cool

Edit: also the detail shape would have to change. That looks too much like the patriots logo

It's funny you said red. I was so set on adding red when I made that. I wasn't sure how you'd feel about it so I tried to keep it as simple as possible with the grey/silver lol.

Now that you said Patriots logo we will def have to change it especially silver/red, lmao.

But with the calipers red and tails, I think red and silver will be the two secondary colors to use. Mainly silver with a red type of accent.
