After 4 hours the drivers side frame is done. Stripped old 3M undercoating with a wire brush on a Makita grinder. Nooks/crannies with wire brush on a drill. This undercoating is a PITA to get off! Dont' fkin use it!

On to pics.
2 coats of Rustoleum self etching primer
2 coats of VHT Rollbar & Chassis paint
sprayed rust converter in the impossible to reach areas.

I like the look ALOT more than the 3M undercoating, see the difference in this pic, left vs. right .









Needed to do this before the new MCG lift goes on, I do not want to be spraying the frame with orange PC everywhere. So I was really fkin sloppy and only covered the overspray by cardboard which I was holding, truck is super dirty anyway and freshly waxed so shit wont stick, and the RCX lift is black so IDGAF.

I'll have to finish the passengers' side this weekend probably.

looks pretty damn good. i used some stripper on mine to get the undercoat off, and then whire wheel. turned out good. the front suspension is the biggest bitch

yeah I wasn't able to get it all off, so what i couldn't i hit with rust converter, and sprayed over top of that.
