Jordan's NBS Build Thread

Shut your whore mouth Ginger.

Chris, everything there was $720 shipped minus some shocks that aren't in the picture. Got it all from Tim, he's a great guy to deal with.

What da hell are those funny blue looking things? Us 2wd drive guys don't have those on our trucks.

:troll:

They're Rough Country leveling keys, I decided I wanted to drop it 2" with the spindles, then lift it 2" with the keys.

Trololol.

:trolldance:

I was asking because obviously you're gonna sell it

Not bad though, that's what I would've paid with shocks if I got mine through Tim.

slam it on mud tires like DV2000NJ
:notbad:

:ayfkm:

Not selling this one. I thought it was a fair price, he gave me a decent discount. He forgot to send the shocks which is no big deal, spoke with him on the phone and he immediately shipped them out and they'll be here Monday or so.

Incase you decide to go with star 17s for now...

 makes perfect sense.

It really isn't bad at all man. Lowering mine was the most involved project I've done and I felt comfortable throughout it all. I don't have a ton of mechanical know-how either, just common sense. It's just nice to have someone else there for the extra set of hands. Have any buddies that can turn a wrench?

I'd be down to help if you weren't halfway across the damn United States :bishplz:
Only problem I ran into on the front of mine was getting the factory balljoints outta the factory spindle and getting the tres outta the spindle..drivers side tre wouldn't come out so I just cut the ear of the spindle off and bought a new tre because :idgaf: lol

Yeah, the guy I work with was a diesel mechanic in his past job so he's definitely got the know how. I've done lots of other work and I'm confident I can do this too, it's just always nice to have someone around who's done the exact job before.

I'm going into it knowing that something is going to go wrong, my first thought was I'll have to replace either a BJ, TRE, or wheel bearing . We shall see. Cutting the ear of the spindle off sounds exactly like something I would do
