Do it! I have a 3-4 then 4-6 tip...it's not really that different. Plus it's free tubing!

Well y'all, I was gunna keep it a secret until it was all done, but I'm gunna share anyway. I will NEVER order from race-mart.com EVER again. I ordered some bilstein struts on feb. 26 and they ended up being on back order. So I called to cancel and get my money back, but they would never do it. Always said it was "commited" to ship on the 7th of March so I just waited it out. It's now the 16th of March and I still have NOTHING. No struts or money back. And everytime I call I get the run around. So I've been calling almost everyday since last Monday. I keep on getting a regular tech person and they supposedly "can't" transfer me to the head person, so they just take my info down and send him a message. So tomorrow I'll call until he answers the phone, because he has answered a few times before.
So here's why I bought them...
I'm taking this shit level off and dropping to 3". Yea ik y'all told me not to do it, but we all know that if I didn't, I'd probly end up doing it later on so atleast I got this out the way and I know from experience that 4" of level sucks ass and rides like shit. Feels like something is about to come through my floor every time I hit a bump. Now I'm just going to do a 3" ccm and still keep the diff drops.
Here's what I've learned so far in my experience:
-lifted life is NOT for me AND it sucks as a dd (for me).
-dumped straight pipes can kiss my ass. (I LOVE my borla XR-1 more and more every day!)
-4" of level can die in a fire. (Should've stayed with my 2.5" tgc last year and never changed it)
I also just want to thank everyone who has helped me. I have learned a lot with my fuck ups and I appreciate the people who have actually contributed advise In helping me learn from my mistakes. :shake:
I'm ALSO in the process of selling my 22's and 33's for either some 285/55 or 295/55 toyo at2's on 20x10 preds. Which y'all think I should go for? I'm leaning towards the 295. I really wanted 305/50 but I think that would just be to much trimming IMO. I have to hit metal for my set up now (33x12.50's/factory wheels/2" spacers).

Don't get me wrong, I've been wanting a lifted truck since I was 14. BUT I think now that I'm "growing up" and getting out of that "highschool" stage of my life (mudding, tearing shit up, acting stupid) I just got tired of it quick. I also realized that I fucked up a perfectly good truck and I have felt like complete shit everyday since then. Even now. Hopefully the 3" level will fix it.. I'm tired of just running away from problems. I love this truck and plan to have it for a while, so I'm trying to fix what Is needed and get on with my life lol
With all that being said, I like the way it looks leveled x17383726272 times more than lifted haha. So yes, I'm doing what I want now instead of going with a trend.

The 3", diff drops, and uca's should make for amuch more comfortable ride imo. If you want more height just do a 1.5" zone. I would go with the 295 as well to get as tall of a tire as you can.
my 3" does pretty good :imo: also I haz some 20x10 preds lol. also, the 4" fts rides that bad? never heard zeb complain about his

Idk if it's just from welding the pieces back in that's making it ride bad, but it's horrible. I was on the phone with zeb when I was about to order and he talked me into it. Should've never listened lol

Yes go to your bank and tell them they didn't ship what you paid for and refuse to refund your money. You might have to pay like a check canceling fee but 30 dollars is a lot better than 300

Wrote a letter and she filled out a form. Hopefully I can get my refund. It's crazy that these struts are on back order though. On summit it says they aren't shipping until 5/30/14.
