2013 Sierra 6.2 4x4 thread

Same outlet size = same volume of exhaust tone. Do a si/so. No need for duals on a stock truck. Waste of money

If you don't do headers I don't think it will really matter. But I could be wrong.

I keep tellin him just do single.. Cheaper and easier :read:

i plan on doing headers just not atm.. And if its gunna sound the same then im just going to go single 3.5" to the 4" tail pipe

As much as it pains me to give advise in this particular thread, the single setup I quoted will be your best bet.

:shake: sounds like a winner to me

One of the things i ordered was on backorder so i cancelled and order from another site, so as soon as i get my refund i will start parting the exhaust together

Glad to see this.

If youre just doing a muffler swap with a tip go to mr muffler on the thruway. I got mine done for $100. And he lets you stand outside the bay and watch and make sure everything is positioned like you want it

my shits all hakced up from when i did straights.. So im just redoing it from the cats back which is why i was thinking about true dual 3". Mines dumped right now and i HATE the way it has so much echo and how airy it sounds.

I'd say so. I skimmed by some good stuff on Ls1tech too

:shake: when I get time I'll need to hop on there too. I'm in the same boat of wanting to learn all that basic stuff. I'll prolly just check out all the stickies and what not

Yep lol Gm Fs has a cam thread sticky but it's just people posting up what they have and not what means this and that. I always check the stickies first.

With your lq9 there's tons of stuff that's interchangeable and what not with the other motors. Plus a lot of it is relatively cheap compared to the 6.2 and newer VVT motors. I learned a lot of stuff from Ls1tech and PT.net but the majority of it was just from being on SSS.com lol.

I learned the most from tech and ptrucks

I also learned that once you open a motor up, they're never the same

And that's the kind of info I'm lookin for lol. Just like once u lift and go back to level it'll never be exactly the same.
