if thats the case dont worry about it.

Mine started whining really bad towards the end.

If you want i used to put marvel mystery oil in the gas once a month to help keep it lubricated.

Stock pump whines like crazy but it's still chugging along, and it's whined for most of it's life.

I should really be worried because my truck is mostly original stuff. It's all lived long past what it should and I get the feeling that one day everything is going to fall off at once.

Crap I gotta do all of this soon. Pretty sure nothing's been done to mine except oil changes and I'm at 85K now.

Bunch of OEM GM parts have been purchased, plugs, wires and brakeline kit. Gotta love having friends who have connections at dealers, got a very good price for all that stuff. Also priced out the main and a/c belts for when i get around to that.

Next will be deciding if the Bilstien 5100's are worth the extra $50-60 bucks for the set over the regular 4800s.

They absolutely are. Had them on the sierra, great riding shocks

Well that settles that then.

next biggest thing is while the truck was up on the lift i found the passenger rear door has some small surface rust bubbles. wondering if its worth fixing or just keep driving it and let it go. We also caught the truck on fire a little bit after replacing the brake line...that was fun.

true. strangely, this is the second truck i've accidentally caught on fire. atleast this one it was easy to put out, the previous truck actually required an extinguisher.
