Your vehicles as they sit now!

I'm awfully tempted now to convert to a 11-14 front end colormatched as well, but I'm not sure what all I would need. I know bumper and grill I think. But I think the 07.5-10 fenders will work.

Only difference should be bumper, grille, and hood.

What dean said. It should be just a new bumper and grille to do the swap.

I think the hoods might actually be the same. At least as far as I can tell but I could be wrong.

The flares won't work either, they have to be removed

Hadn't considered that.

That's what i was thinking.

Since you are coming from a 2500, you will for sure need a bumper and the grille together or they won't line up. The 7-10 grille goes down further.

On the hood - they are different, but I'm not sure what all that entails. I know for sure that the rear louvers are larger on the 11-13 hoods. I've also heard that the upper grille trim piece is a different size between the two versions.

You could always start with the bumper and grille, then do the hood if needed.

Yes the hoods are different.
11-13 HD has larger louvers like you said and different trim piece.

But to do a full swap yes you will need 11-13 hood grill and bumper. The 07-10 hood you have will work but the trime piece might not line up the best. I would go all out if it was me and just do all 11-13 so it all goes well....plus, the 11-13 hood looks meaner , its a little taller

The flares won't work either, they have to be removed

Why would they need to be removed?
For and HD swap they will be fine.

Alright thanks guys. I've got a while to figure it all out. Definitely won't be doing anything till later this year when it warms up.

Edit: I was just thinking and if I really did need to take the flares off for it to work wouldn't I need to replace the fenders as well? I'm pretty sure there won't be a problem with them staying on after the swap.

Pretty sure his comment about the flares was sarcasm, not too many people are fans of fender flares here.

Ehhh probably true. Hadn't considered that. I prefer it without as well but with as much as I'm on gravel roads I think I'll keep them on. Plus as far as flares go they are pretty subtle

Guys on Louisiana lowered association said use aircraft stripper. So the stuff I haven't used im bringing back to exchange it out.

So are those like polished rims now? And can that be done to any of the rims that have a faceplate or is there a specific rim people do that to?

Im undecided on the finish. Most likely clear the raw aluminum an roll with it till I can afford to do some thing. Gmc has 2 20" clad wheel that are the same underneath. Also have a 18" wheel. No clue what it looks like decladded. Chevy has a 20" wheel that can be done also
