Yeah I'm thinking about taking my smooth cap off while I'm painting it and grind them down smooth then just prime the little spots I grind down. Would make it hella better.

If I had known I woulda had the shop grind it, but I'm not pullin it off now and risk damaging the paint work

Maybe I missed it, but why did you put spares on for the winter? Are machined finish wheels not durable enough for winters up there?

No they're not. The salt they use is corrosive as shit. It's a magnesium based salt they put down on the highways too. Also, those are snow tires on those steelies. Sadly my truck will be a rust bucket one day. It's inevitable.

I see. Dnw those conditions. Would have a winter beater or just walk everywhere while there's salt on the roads

Yea I had to drill mine out. First time I put it on it had those same dimples.

Sucks. Fuck it its on now lol. If I I have issues with it pulling off I'll remove it and drill em out. I don't wanna risk pulling it now and damaging the paint job
