I had double 5 all the way around on my truck and audi. only averaged a tint ticket about once per year. then cut back to double 5 on back, single 5 on fronts, no tint tickets until I moved to CA.
Sparks PD were always the issuing department.
In ca ive had only 2 tickets, one on each vehicle in the 2 1/2 years ive lived in rocklin.

Sparks always gets us too

Well I'm almost there then I got quoted 90-110 for a full shield by a shop out in PA but the guy said "cash only, after hours, no receipt, I don't know you and you don't know me." :whoa:

The reason he said that is because technically it's a federal law to not have windshield tint. Both times I for mine done, it was $120 cash and no receipt and "you didn't get it done here"

My NNBS:

Stock back glass and rear rollups (18ish%) and 20% front rollups

My car:

10% rear, 10% side, and 35% rollups

I've never had a tinted windshield or a brow. I can't see out at night enough as it is and I hate how brows look.

I have 25% sides and back, stock front. used to have a brow but shop made me take it off for inspection. 25 isn't very dark n the day but I can't see out of them at night...

5% over factory and roll-ups. 35% windshield. Medical exemption. Currently running 5% on the VW, need to go back to the eye doctor. Planning on running double 5% on the C10 with 35% windshield.

Lameee hahaha doesnt TX have pretty lax tint laws or do you just not want moar?

iirc, 25% is legal on side and roll-ups and back, can't have anything on the front other than a 3.5" brow. I haven't done any tint work on this truck other than pulling the brow off for inspection.

I think it's 35% on the front. That's what the tint shop told me anyways. Was your brow to long or something?

Been looking at some pre cut kits pretty reasonable and I wouldn't have to worry too much about the fitment cause I already have tint

First stage. 5% all around and 5% brow only

truck-antennadelete001.jpg

Next stage I had 5% on back & ext. cab, double 15% on roll downs and 35% shield.

Next set-up was 5% back window, factory ext cab tint, 15% on roll downs and 35% shield. I decided to lighten it up a bit.

And now after being busted, 5% back window, factory ext cab, NOTHING on roll downs but I kept the 35% on the shield.

Nope I had no issues with the layered tint. That double layer 15 was perfect during the day, I loved it. But at night it was pretty dark.
